Home renovations, Stella finds a new home, and more!

So over the past few months we have been fixing up our little condo. We put new carpet in (after the puppy helped us destroy the old carpet), we painted, and so on. Pictures coming soon....

Meanwhile, another change to our home is that we don't have a cat anymore. Don't worry nothing happened to the cat. (oh yeah, you can see that in the title) Stella found a new home! I decided it was the right thing to do. I can't remember the last time I didn't have a feline friend around...the sacrifices you make for the one you love...sigh. I did it for Stella too, and for a nice old man.

I left a flier at an assisted living center and shortly thereafter I got a call. Stella is now the companion cat of an 85-year-old cat fancier. Stella purred with joy upon meeting him and he was as excited as a little boy getting a new puppy. It was cute when he said "I was wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life." Now Stella can get the constant attention she's always wanted, and the old man has a friend to stay with him.

As far as the "more" in my blog title, well it just sounded catchy. I don't really have much else to say. Larry and I are getting ready to head out to Kansas for two weeks for the Jordan/Blake wedding. Fun stuff!

There's my latest update...oh and It's been great knowing you all.--Once I break the news to Larry that Kassidy ate his new and expensive book...and threw up the cover, well...it's not going to be pretty.

Well, at least Kassidy threw up the cover for him...perhaps it can be salvaged?? Besides it must have been an exceptionally good book!

I will miss Stella but I am happy that she found a good home and a good companion to live with... They will make each other happy!
